Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of landscape features such as plants, trees, hardscaping, and irrigation systems
- Learn and apply proper planting and maintenance techniques
- Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times
- Work effectively as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Take direction from experienced landscapers and actively seek opportunities to learn and improve skills

 

Requirements:
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A basic understanding of landscaping principles is a plus
- Must be reliable and punctual
- Must pass a drug screening
- Must pass a criminal background check

This position offers valuable hands-on training and the opportunity to develop a solid foundation in landscape design and maintenance. Associates typically work a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend hours to complete projects or mowing that has been postponed due to weather conditions.
